Xbox Game Tester – 3 Reasons Why Xbox Testers Get Paid More

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009
If you are considering becoming an xbox game tester it could be one of the most profitable decisions you make. The Xbox brand, specifically with the release of the xbox360 has become a dominant force in the gaming industry. With this there has been an ever increasing need for xbox game testers. Here are 3 reasons why xbox game testers tend to make the most money.

1 Xbox Is Backed By Microsoft

This may not come as a surprise to many, but the brand is a creation of the computer powerhouse Microsoft. Yes, that’s right, Bill Gates created the Xbox! For this reason the Xbox brand is extremely well funded, and as such the money on offer for game testers is quite substantial indeed. Some xbox beta game testers report wages as high as $100 per hour. Obviously this is dependent on the game in question, and the deadline required.

2 Xbox Games Are Complex

The main role of a game tester is to discover bugs and issues in unreleased video games, and report them back to the gaming companies. Xbox 360 have amongst the most complex graphics and production qualities of any games produced currently. For this reason, there is even more importance for gaming companies to ensure their games are free of bugs and issues prior to release. For this reason there are slightly higher standards required for testing the games, which in turn translates into more game testing jobs for xbox games. At the same time expectations are high and being thorough is crucial and highly regarded.

3 Xbox Games Are Easier To Mass Produce

The release of the Xbox360 was timed specifically so multi-platform developers would favour the gaming console. The result was that a high amount of games were created for Xbox in a short space of time. Xbox has also been created with far more advanced development tools, making it actually easier for gaming companies to produce games in their format. The greater amount of games being produced results in a higher amount of game testing jobs being needed to be filled.

Conclusion

So what does this all mean to you at the end of the day? If you are considering becoming an xbox game tester then there are certainly a lot of opportunities out there for you. Of all gaming platforms xbox game testers will be in the highest demand, and more likely to command the highest pay available.

Want To Copy XBOX 360 Games? Here’s The Easy Guide To Copying XBOX Games

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009
seems to be a lot of people interested in copying Xbox games; in fact, how to copy these game discs is one of the questions we are asked the most frequently. Now, we all know how to copy audio CDs and we do it all the time. However, can you copy Xbox games the same way; and if you can, how do you do it?

There’s an easy way to get started copying Xbox games – and we’ll tell you how. However, there is one thing we need to say first.

We do not encourage nor do we endorse the illegal copying of Xbox games which you do not already own. The information we’re going to give you is meant to help you make backup copies of your own games. This is legal and is in fact a very good idea, since it will make sure that you still have a copy of your games in case a disc gets damaged.

So let’s get started! It’s simple – there’s not going to be any complicated instructions or jargon here; copying Xbox games is an incredibly easy thing to do.

You might wonder why it is that you can’t use your CD burning and copying program to make backup copies of your Xbox games.

There’s a simple answer to this – your CD copying program doesn’t have the technology needed for copying Xbox games.

Xbox game discs are encrypted to prevent copyright infringement. This means that unless you have software installed which can get around this encryption, you won’t be able to read (or copy) the data on your Xbox disc.

However, there is now software which can read these encrypted discs and let you make copies of them. When you have this software, you’ll be able to get started copying Xbox games.

Once you have downloaded and installed the software, the rest is a snap. Just put the Xbox game disc in your computer and the software will read the data and make a disc image on your hard drive. Then insert a blank DVD-R and the software will burn the image to this disc!

It’s so easy to do that anyone can make copies of their Xbox games.

You don’t have to spend a lot of money for these programs either. The best ones available cost between $30 and $40; some companies charge more than $100, but the higher price tag doesn’t mean better software in this case.

These programs allow you to start copying Xbox games. It’s simple, inexpensive and will let you have backup copies of your entire game library.

Xbox Game Rentals – Rent your Favorite Xbox Games

Saturday, November 28th, 2009
If you’ve been living on this planet for the last year, you will know how invaluable online video game rentals are to the serious gamer. Are all online rental companies created equally and do they support the game consoles you own. Today, we will be investigating into which rental club offers the best quality selection of Xbox video game rentals.

Our team researched a number of online game clubs to see which one offers the best selection of Xbox video games with quality points awarded to the clubs who had the best selection of new releases, classic Xbox games, and hard-to-find games as well. Out of 7 online rental game clubs, only 3 were viable and worthy enough to put this analysis to the test. These clubs were Gottaplay, GameFly, and Intelliflix, 3 of the major players within the online game rental realm.

Gottaplay Xbox Rentals Gottaplay rental company is fast becoming one of the best online rental game companies in the US, trailing right next to GameFly. They are the first online company of their kind that offers phone support to all their customers, along with a massive game selection. Gottaplay has a large selection of Xbox games within their arsenal, here are the stats that we came up with: 1. Xbox Game Selection: Roughly 600 Xbox titles 2. New Release Titles: Carried all New Releases 3. Classic Game Titles: Many Xbox classics were included such as Halo, Soul Caliber, and other great titles of the past. 4. Hard-to-Find Games: Many games that we never even knew about were included within their selection. If you want to play a game with little or no popularity, Gottaplay has this covered as well. 5. Xbox 360 titles: Roughly 50 Xbox 360 titles and growing.

GameFly Xbox Rentals GameFly has been leading the online video game rental revolution for quite some time and were the first advertised company to make this service public. This company is the oldest and many believe the leader within the game rental world. One thing is for sure, when it comes to Xbox game rentals, they sure don’t lack in selection and quality. Lets take a look: 1. Xbox Game Selection: Roughly 700 Xbox titles 2. New Release Titles: Carried all New Releases. Even carry up-to-date cheats, walkthroughs, and reviews of all their latest titles. 3. Classic Game Titles: Many Xbox classics were included. Coudn’t really find any Xbox title was not included in their inventory. 4. Hard-to-Find Games: Many games that we never even knew about were included within their selection, but most of their game selection comprised of newer titles. 5. Xbox 360 titles: Roughly 60 Xbox 360 titles and growing. They offer cheats, reviews, walkthroughs, and instruction manuals located within their website.

Intelliflix Xbox Rentals Intelliflix has definately reached out to a market that some gamers have been requesting for years. That is movie, game, and adult titles selection all within one central online gaming facility. This company had a great selection of Xbox rentals available when considering the wide market area that they cover with video games and movies. Although their Xbox game rentals weren’t as hefty as the top 2 competitors, they were definately worth mentioning. 1. Xbox Game Selection: Roughly 400 Xbox titles 2. New Release Titles: Carried all New Releases and have posts of up-and-coming releases as well. 3. Classic Game Titles: Many classics were included. 4. Hard-to-Find Games: Yes, they had these covered as well. You will find a wide array of games you never knew were invented within this selection. 5. Xbox 360 titles: Roughly 35 Xbox 360 titles and growing. Still a great selection of newer titles.

Honestly, you really can’t go wrong with any of the 3 rental clubs mentioned above. For more of a diverse and massive selection, I would highly reccommend GameFly next in line to Gottaplay. They definately have the market covered within this category of console games.
